Your Child's Risks for Being Overweight

Baby Checkup

Does being a plus-size mom put your child at risk for being overweight too? The answer is probably. Some studies have shown that plus-size moms do tend to have plus-size kids, but it is not clear if this is a genetic link or is more environmental. What we do know is that moms tend to be the ones in the house who buy the food, make the food, and monitor the food consumption.
